I had my first taste of radio at the age of 15 in my hometown of Bowling Green, Kentucky. There was a country radio station located behind my neighborhood and this is where I learned that if you hang around long enough, they will hire you to do something! After moving up and down the dial a few times I finally landed at Big 98 Country as a member of "Carl P and The P Team." I've been very fortunate during my years "n broadcasting. I have had the honor of hosting award winning, nationally syndicated shows including "Country's Most Wanted" and "Country Live Tonight", as well as many artist interview specials. Hanging with the Stars has always been fun, but the real reward is the opportunity to work with organizations such as Second Harvest Food Bank, St. Jude and Vanderbilt Children's Hospitals, Boy Scouts of America, and the downtown Nashville YMCA Urban Outreach program where I served on the board of directors.
They say that behind every good man is a woman rolling her eyes. My wife, Judy, and I have been married for 22 years and have been blessed with two wonderful sons... Preston is 16 and Chris is 12. And two sons works out great because I won't have to cut the grass for a long, long time!
