The Big 98 WSIX and 5th 3rd Bank Challenges YOU to "Mission: Cell Phones for Soldiers".
Cell Phones for Soldiers hopes to turn old cell phones into more than 12 million minutes of prepaid calling cards for U.S. troops stationed overseas in 2008. To do so, Cell Phones for Soldiers expects to collect 15,000 cell phones each month through a network of more than 3,000 collection sites across the country.
Drop off your old cell phones and accessories to any participating Middle Tennessee 5th 3rd Bank or to the Big 98 Studios.
The Big 98 will collect the cell phones and send them off to be refurbished and sold to purchase phone cards for our Troops to call home.
