Think your Valentine's Day sucked? An Illinois man trying to patch things up after a Valentine's Day argument ended up having his girlfriend allegedly bite off his tongue when he went in for a kiss. The unidentified 47-year-old apparently tried to tell his girlfriend of ten months, 51-year-old Elaine Cook, that they should make up. She obviously didn't agree. In fact, Cook reportedly bit off "a large portion of" the poor guy's tongue and tossed it on the sink counter. He put it in a bag of ice and dialed 911. Cook was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic battery. Unfortunately for her boyfriend (now presumably ex-boyfriend), doctors were unable to reattach his tongue. The good news: he can still talk.
