I've started planning Valentines Day for my wife! But, it's always challenging!
Ladies, if you have to pretend to love your gift come Valentine's Day, you're not alone.
A new study by CreditDonkey.com reveals that what we guys think our significant others want aren't typically what they really want. Here's a rundown of their findings:
- 65 percent plan to give dinner, but only 49 percent want to receive dinner.
- 38 percent plan to give chocolates, but only 30 percent want to receive chocolates.
- 37 percent plan to give flowers, but only 20 percent want to receive flowers.
- Only 8 percent plan to give gift cards, but 15 percent want to receive gift cards.
- Only 7 percent plan to give electronics, but 20 percent want to receive electronics.
- Only 5 percent plan to give a trip, but 9 percent want to receive a trip.
This probably explains why the folks behind the study found that only slightly more than half (58 percent) of Americans even plan on celebrating Valentine's Day this year.
